I’m Nikki, and I am a mature student currently studying for the Masters in Applied Imagination at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts, London. The course asks us to set (and evolve) research questions to be tackled using action research.

My research question may change further before the end of my course in December but as I write it is “How can the experience of Londoners be used to establish a persuasive alternative to the false stories that spread about this city?”

I’m considering the effect of providing evidence of happiness, and I’m thinking about whether creating a small physical space dedicated to the appreciation of or gratitude for London might be helpful.
