I have fudged the data just enough to remove words like ‘I’ve’ but not enough to get my word cloud app to understand that ‘Savile Row’ should be treated as one word. So I would treat this as illustrative rather than definitive.

This is version 2, as of 26th August 2026. The size of the word becomes bigger as the word is used more often, as is traditional. Last time I wrote: “I think you can see in this version that there isn’t a huge amount of commonality across responses, and answers aren’t settling very neatly into themes. I’m neither surprised nor disappointed by this: London is a big topic.” But this time, I’m pleased to see ‘people’ coming through as one of the top answers. Some observers – but not Londoners – might be surprised to see ‘food’ coming through too.
